#82 six words

This ‘six words’ thing is in vogue.

Write a memoir using six words…I heard this on BBC International radio program.

Now, there is 6-word motto…haven’t seen or read one yet.

However I know of one:

  1. Enter to learn. Leave to serve. — school motto for Kohimarama School in Auckland, New Zealand. This is one of the best I’ve seen.

It was Ernest Hemmingway who wrote a 6-word story I was told but…source? Can anyone help?

Here goes my 6-word short story:

  1. When told, she cried, “Why me?”
  2. Dead fish swims with the flow.
  3. Ernest Hemmingway wrote 6-word story. Huh?!
  4. I came. I saw. I conquered. — a classic quote?

Please add on…
