Discovering and rediscovering self at each phase of life is important. This is more evident as one enters the sunset of life.

The body begins to slow down — movements tardy, intake of food less, experience constipation, and so on and so on.

The mind remains alert but restless, fraught with cares  and anxiety for tomorrow for no reason. The heart becomes heavy as days go by…don’t understand this though.

Spiritually, there is the heaviness and wonderings. One should have more faith and quietness but…why? Is this common experience?

Retirement equals not employable?

If that is so, can I start something? If I do, will I have the energies to finish that I began?

Time slips by…so quickly…silently…and mercilessly.

Life without something meaningful and purposeful to work on is painful. Not knowing how to use the time productively is…

to feel,

 to hear,

  to think,

   to move…

     this I shall 

      in the winter of life.
