Generally Singaporeans are fortunate to enjoy sports stadium where the public could use the stadium for free.
Today, to my great disgust, there was animal pooh on the wood-chips track at the Gombak stadium. The wood-chips track is specially designed for those athletes to exercise while recovering from injuries.

A three-year-old boy came to his mother’s rescue by dialling 999 after she had an epileptic fit.
Jack Thomson called the emergency services from his mum’s mobile phone. When the line went dead he found another phone and dialled again.

“Arghhh…vandalism! I exclaimed when I saw the “O$P$ followed by a mobile phone number” while descending the public lift.
‘O$P$’ stands for ‘owe money pay money’ — a slogan of warning by the loan sharks.
Why go to loan sharks? Out of desperation? A result of overspending? Or a case where banks do not lend to those having little means?
